8+ Zx6r Hot Start Issue Article
Zx6R Hot Start Issue. I would like to commute the bike to work, but i can't wait 15min at the gas station 2miles from my house every morning just to restart the bike. Currently the bike runs great, however won't start up when the engine is hot.
I would like to commute the bike to work, but i can't wait 15min at the gas station 2miles from my house every morning just to restart the bike. 2007 kawasaki zx6r ninja cranks but no start, not getting power to fuel pump, and no spark but power to coils.i've replaced wiring harness and relay box.please help. Check to see if you're losing spark in any of the cylinders once the engine is heat soaked.
I Would Have To Wait 10Minutes Before I Can Start The Bike.
Has anyone else had any hot start issues with the zx6r? If so, you might be looking at a failing coil, and your rough idle would be from a dead cylinder or two. When my bike is hot and i go to start it, it will start right up but die if i don't revbomb it once it idles.
